Crowd Rental (STEIJE.BE BV, Raas van Gaverestraat 72, 9000 Ghent, Belgium) respects your privacy. This policy explains which personal data we collect and why.

What we collect

Your name, email address, phone number and company details when you request a rental or contact us.
Your billing address and VAT number, to invoice your rental.
The products, dates and prices of your rentals.

Why we use it

To handle your rental request, prepare your order and contract, and invoice it.
To contact you about your rental.
To meet our legal and accounting obligations.

How long we keep it

We keep rental and invoice data as long as Belgian accounting law requires (currently 10 years). Other data is removed when it is no longer needed.

Cookies

With your consent we use analytics cookies from Google Analytics and Hotjar to see how the website is used and improve it. You choose this in the cookie notice and can change your choice by clearing your cookies. Without consent we only use cookies the site needs to work (such as your cart and language).

Sharing

We only share your data with services we need to run our business, such as our accounting software and hosting provider. We never sell your data.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your personal data, or object to how we use it, by emailing info@crowdrental.be. You can also file a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority (www.gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit.be).
